Please Note: If you waited until renewal time (June) to submit your PDH documentation, the hours earned may not be included in your "PDH Total" yet.
15A NCAC 27.0830- "The responsibility of maintaining records to be used to support credits claimed is the responsibility of the contractor."

Total PDH for each certified well contractor is listed in the above tables. Certified well contractors need at least 8PDH by June 30th each year. Remember, if you are newly certified, and passed an exam to obtain certification, you are not required to have 8PDH for your first renewal.

Continuing education requirements must be met before you will be able to renew per General Statute 87-98.7 (b).
New this year... The above tables now include "services offered" by each of the certified well contractors. Remember, a well contractor's Level determines what activities they are certified to perform. This list is simply to show areas of specialty. For example, a homeowner looking to have geothermal wells installed can see which drillers in their area offer that type of service.
Please note: If all activities are marked as "no", it is not that the contractor doesen't offer any services, it is likely they simply have not yet selected which services they do offer. Only consider the "yes" notations. (We are working to correct this where "no" will be replaced by blank space)
Also, on the individual wallet cards carried by well contractors, a space for a photo of the driller has been added. Staff will be gathering photos throughout the year at various events to add to the database. If you have not had a photo taken by staff yet, your card will say "Please ask for photo ID".
