Newly Revised Coastal Stormwater Rule Effective Oct. 1, 2008

On Aug. 9, 2008, Governor Mike Easley signed into law SB 1967, which makes permanent several revisions to the state's Coastal Stormwater Rule. The text of the newly revised rule may be viewed through a link below.

This final bill was the result of a stakeholder meeting process that included representatives of the regulated community, environmental advocacy groups, state and local governments and many other organizations.
