Laboratories Laboratories

The Division of Water Quality Laboratory Section provides analytical support to water quality programs in the state. Primary clients are the DWQ Surface Water and Aquifer Protection Sections and the Division of Waste Management's Underground Storage Tank (UST) Section. In addition to the main laboratory offices in Raleigh, there are field labs in the Asheville and Mooresville regional offices.

Certification
The Certification Branch provides a nationally respected wastewater laboratory certification program. All commercial, industrial, municipal and field laboratories submitting data to the State for NC clients must utilize laboratories accredited through this program.
