The following lists are provided for informational purposes only. They are updated on a monthly to quarterly basis and should only be considered accurate as of their day of posting.

Proposed Permits

Public Notice Announcement
North Carolina General Statues 143.215.1 and Administrative Code 15A NCAC 02H.0109 require the Division to provide public notice of permitting actions through local newspapers. The NPDES units use this webspace to announce those publications. The units request publications in newspapers on a biweekly schedule, and the last two announcements are listed below for convenience.

Most publications are for renewals of existing permits. Typically, DWQ staff expects to issue these permits in the near future (approximately 45 days).

NOTE: This is only an announcement of publication. Public comments are due 30 days from the date these notices were published in local newspapers. Requests for publication were sent to local newspapers on the following dates. Actual date of publication may vary by newspaper.
